I am a teacher here at the home of the mighty North Myrtle Beach High Chiefs.  I teach fabulous sophomores and magnificent seniors.  This year I am teaching Advanced Placement World History, and Advanced Placement Government and Politics.  This is my twelfth year of teaching.  I have always taught in Horry County Schools, the last four at North Myrtle Beach High School.  I live in the community I teach in, North Myrtle Beach.  I obtained my Advanced Placement United States History certification in 2002, my Advanced Placement World History certification in 2004, and best of all, my National Board Certification in 2006.  I love history with a passion that is indescribable.  Too many children today do not understand or appreciate history, and I have made it my mission to change their understanding and their appreciation.
